About Me
Mrs. Ranjita Sakalesh Chakote
Secretary, BJP Mahila Morcha Maharashtra State
In the fourth generation of the Chakotee family, there is active involvement in both social work and political spheres. Inspired by the legacy of my grandfather and former Mayor of Satara, Mr. Kondiram Sawakar, I have been actively engaged with the Chakote family for the past 17 years. Starting from imparting arts skills to women, I have understood their joys and sorrows and have been motivated to contribute at every level – be it religious, educational, cultural, or societal. Our Chakote family holds a legacy spanning four generations in social and political realms.
I have observed the influence and pivotal leadership within the Lingayat community in North Solapur, as well as in various sectors throughout the region, and recognized our family’s role. Through the Akkamahila organization, I have endeavored to empower women in Solapur city and its surroundings through numerous initiatives. Alongside these efforts, I have consistently raised my voice against injustices. After joining the BJP ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, I first had the opportunity to meet voters. I seized the opportunity to campaign for the BJP through numerous meetings, corner meetings, doorstep visits, and interactions. I organized 28 meetings during the election campaign and addressed them as well. My focus in party activities will always remain on serving the nation under the principles of duty towards God, country, and Dharma. In the times ahead, I aim to strengthen the party organization through the medium of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
